My friend gave me a set of lights and some origami balloons for Christmas. Daphne and I made a project of blowing up the balloons and putting them on the individual lights.

The lights now hang in Daphne’s room as a night light. We had an absolute blast putting them together. I might make some more and hang them around her room at some point in the future. This is our creation.

My family went out to have fun and left Cyprus and I home alone for the afternoon. I really needed the peace and quiet in my life. I got a chance to reorganize my thoughts and calm down. A mother of two small children needs a break SOMETIME!

We all got together and ate pizza and beet chocolate cake for dinner. All home made of course.
