We took Jared swimming with us this past weekend. Daphne is at a little bit of a stall in swimming skills. She is really close to swimming on her own, but she is too scared to try. She doesn’t like going under water because it hurts her eyes.

We decided to get her a pair of goggles to wear in case she wants to try going under the water. It turns out that it was a disaster to wear them in the pool. They upset her and made her scared. That doesn’t stop them from becoming a favorite toy on dry land. If hey are around, I can’t keep them off her face.

Perhaps she will take the plunge soon!
