I have two friends that share the same birthday, January 13th. We decided to all get together for brunch today, so Julie and I spent the morning cooking to prepare.

I made souffle for the first time, which was an incredible treat. I also made baked french toast and baked oatmeal. I made an angel food cake to top it all off.

The food was a bit hit, and it was awesome to spend time with friends celebrating 2 birthdays.

After we ate, we all sat around for several hours and knit. I’m working on a sweater for Cyprus, but it is slow going, so it might take a while to show results.
