I came home from swimming yesterday to discover that I had gotten a package.

I sent some rabbit hides to the tanner to be processed a few months ago. My plan is to sew the hides together to make a big play blanket on the floor for the kids to sit and hang out on.

The tanner I sent the hides to hand tans them with old methods that don’t use any chemicals. He is a nice Greek man! I am so happy with the tanning job that he did. The hides are gorgeous.

Of course after I got the hides out of the box Daphne found another use for it! Oliver was visiting yesterday and got really excited about getting to play. Looks like fun eh?
