Daphne stopped taking naps a few months ago because i was spending a lot of time fighting her to take them. It would take me almost an hour to get her to sleep and then another hour or two to get her to bed. I was spending most of my day trying to get one kid or the other to sleep.

After a little bit of a rough road recently, I decided to become more firm about sleeping. Either Daphne takes a nap during the afternoon or she goes to bed much earlier. I have been finding that if I take her out to do some activity like swimming that she will take an afternoon nap no problem. I’ve just got to wear her out.

She kept telling me that she didn’t need a nap. After I convinced her to go to her room and try again, I walked by to find her asleep perched on the edge of her bed!
