It has been quite the experience to see Daphne and her cousin Eli interact as they grow up. Eli was 2 when Daphne was born. He was a wild and fun kid, and I just remember wondering if my own 2 year old would be the same (YES, all 2 year olds have abundant energy).

For a while, Daphne and Eli did not get along at all. It was a struggle to keep them in the same room because they were always stealing toys from each other and someone was always crying. It made it not so much for them to play together.

Even back when I visited in September, it was crazy to have the kids together, they were fighting more than ever.

Some switch seems to have been pressed this time because there was a COMPLETE change. Daphne loves Eli, and they are now able to play together happily without any fighting or upset. I had such an amazing time at my sister’s house because my daughter was truly happy there for the first time.

In fact, Daphne begged me not to come home. She wanted to stay at Eli’s house and play!
