79. Mr. Cyprus Visits Erratic Rock

February28

We have been having some delicious spring weather recently. The kids and I have been getting outside for some long walks, and we have been having some good adventures.

We decided to head up to Erratic Rock with Julie and her kids for some fun. Erratic Rock is a little park out in the middle of the coastal hills in Yamhill county. It is a giant rock that was left behind when the glaciers that formed the Willamette Valley melted after the last ice age. The actual rock is HUGE. Cyprus is sitting on a little rock next to the big rock.

It is fun to go to Erratic rock because it is a nice paved hike uphill, and when you get to the top you have an amazing view of the valley.

Unfortunately for us, we also had no wind protection, and it was a really windy day. Cyprus didn’t seem to mind too much as he sat on the rock and genuinely enjoyed the great outdoors in the spring!

Oh, this will be the last appearance of the famous hand-made, stripped, blue, angora hat. We have passed them on to new baby Beckett to use, and a new one is in the works now.
