Jared and I got together today and decided that we were going to go to the feed store to get the things we needed to fix a gate that would keep our chickens in.

I had a very short list of things that we needed to buy. Needless to say, we came home with only 1 thing on the list and many more that were not.

The second I walked into the store, I knew that it was the season that they have chicks and ducks and things for sale.

Daphne and I were looking at the babies oogling over them. I finally got to the ducks, and my heart melted. I LOVE baby ducks. They have a kind of duck that I have been wanting to get for a while.

Long story short, we are now raising a pair of ducks for fun.

Yes, I know that I’m nuts, but it doesn’t bother me one bit!
