When Daphne was little, I always said that I would not be the kind of mother that bribed my kid with sweet things. Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for her to discover sugar and it’s incredible pleasure.

I now have some homemade caramels in the house and some chocolates, and Daphne gets them occasionally as a reward for one thing or another.

Of course, she sometimes gets chocolate just because mom can’t help but eat it, and mom gets caught almost every time she tries to sneak it without being noticed.

Chocolate is for sure messy, I don’t know how this kid gets it everywhere. Oh wait, now I remember. When Daphne gets a chocolate, she holds it in her hand and won’t eat it. She must just be relishing in the pure joy of having won it!
