We had two litters of baby bunnies born recently. One of Daphne’s jobs is to play with them so that they can get used to humans so that they will make good bunnies for people in the future (they are fiber rabbits and need to be really gentle).

Every day, Daphne cleans her room and does any other job that I ask of her so that I will go out and get a baby bunny for her to play with. We are going to keep a bunny or two from this litter, so she is picking her favorites already. We both have our eyes on a fawn bunny that looks just like his daddy.

Daphne is incredibly sweet and wonderful with the bunnies. She likes to take them with her when we go out in public. The day they were born they went with us to the local sandwich shop. They came with us to open accounts at the local bank. They even came to the park with us for a little adventure. Isn’t this bunny just cute?
