I really enjoy putting Cyprus to sleep. I like it so much in fact that I have stopped going out to activities on my own during the week because I don’t want to miss out on all the fun.

After dinner and after Daphne’s bedtime, I take Cyprus into the living room and nurse him. I then lay the sheepskin on the floor and put him on top of it. I give him a Lego or some other small toy to play with, and he looks at it and plays around with it until he falls asleep.

It is so darling to watch him play himself to sleep. There are no upsets and no crying, just a calm and sweet baby. It is so much fun to experience.

He has fallen asleep in some odd places. The other day he fell asleep while holding on to his daddy’s shoe!
