I am seeing a love of reading coming out in Daphne. Whenever I offer to read to her she comes out of her room with a huge stack of books and asks me to read every one of them to her.

I am very proud of the fact that she can identify about 50% of the capital letters in the alphabet. She can recognize entire words if she figures out what the first letter is first. This is big, exciting news for her.

Daphne is reading here getting ready for bedtime. After we read her books and tell her good night I catch her laying in her bed with books piled around her while she reads the stories to herself.
