I bring Cyprus to story time with Daphne and I on Wednesdays. He came home a few weeks ago and had suddenly learned how to clap and how to wave!

He is SO proud of himself in his new skill. You can tell how relieving it is to him to be able to communicate something ANYTHING. I have been stopping whatever I am doing while he tries to clap and encourage him. He LOVES the attention and the acknowledgement that he has actually figured out how to do something that other people communicate.

Cyprus can now be found almost constantly clapping while he says his new word that is a hybrid of "quack" and "clap" "quap".
