Jared is gone for the week, so it is just the kids and I all week! I take care of the kids during the day by myself all the time, so I don’t know why it feels so much more difficult when Jared is gone, but it is. I spent probably 3 hours today spooning food into the mouths of children so that everyone stayed happy!

They both fell asleep at 7:30, and I felt physically relieved. I managed to drink some water, eat some dinner and put away the perishable food without something breaking, someone crying or a request for my attention! Methinks I can do this!

I’ve been wanting to do this shot for a while, but I finally made it work tonight. I love it. Captures my mood perfectly.
