140/365 New Sock Dreams
May7
I started working for these socks for Cyprus back in February. I finished them, but I never got around to weaving in the ends around the color changes so that they could be worn without unraveling.
Cyprus has been wearing the same pair of hand-knit socks for almost 3 months now. They are completely felted, and actually look like big felted masses, not like socks. I finally found time to weave in the ends on these socks and put them on Cyprus’ feet. They are so warm and soft, and lovely, I can’t help but wonder what hand made socks feel like. I’ve got the yarn to make my own socks, perhaps I should get to work.
And keeping with the Dr. Seuss theme, this is "here come sock feet."
