Daphne usually goes to bed between 6 and 7. As soon as she is in bed, I start putting Cyprus to bed. We usually start by playing together, but something inevitably is upsetting to him, and he starts to cry. At that point, I go get a diaper and some PJ’s and I get him ready for bed. Sometimes, we approach meltdown level before I am ready. This is what that looks like. Then I have to quickly finish what I was working on and run and get clothes for him. I end up putting clothes on a grumpy baby, which is infinitely more difficult than you would imagine.

Cyprus has a very loving daddy who is more than happy to help out while mom gets ready for bedtime. Sad faces do happen around here sometimes.
