This weekend was the annual UFO festival here in Mcminnville. I have never made it to the festival before, but we decided to go to the parade this year because Daphne has gotten such a good kick out of parades in the past.

On a whim, I decided to dye the dog green for the pet costume contest. I used my fiber dying knowledge and used some kelly green frosting dye with some vinegar. I was really trying to work it into her because if you are going to dye a dog green, you might as well do a good job at it.

These are my hands right after the dye job. I totally look like an alien. I can’t believe that I let myself touch the camera with those hands!
