We have been having a LONG, LATE spring here, which has meant that it has been raining a lot–3 times more than normal for this time of year.

I managed to steal one of the few sunny moments when Cyprus was asleep to run out to the garden and haul in a harvest. I brought in arm loads of culinary herbs! Boy was I excited because I have been out of almost everything for a while.

They all took turns in the food dehydrator, and they are now waiting to be used in many delicious meals to come.

It feels so good to be harvesting out of my own garden. It is such a huge accomplishment for me. I’ve always been more of an animal person in the past, so it is niece to know that plants like me too.
