Yep, I am cheating with my one year ago flashback here. I could’t possibly take a photo on my son’s birthday that does myself any justice. This photo was taken when he was about 5 minutes old. I was sitting there wondering at the perfect little baby that I was finally getting to meet.

Cyprus has brought so much amazingness to my life. My pregnancy with him was challenging, but it taught me a lot about myself. His birth was extremely healing for me. He has been exactly the person I have needed him to be. I couldn’t imagine going through this life without him. I celebrate the day he was born by remembering how amazing I felt holding him for the first time.
