I try to avoid taking repetitious photos, so I was looking for something other than a close-up face shot of Daphne when this photo presented itself to me.

When I am taking photo, I will shoot using different compositions and exposure until finally something inside me clicks and I know that I’ve got what I was looking for.

And so it was with this photo, when I was looking at trying to do something new, I clicked the camera and set it down after taking this photo because I knew that I’d gotten something better than I had hoped for.

I LOVE this picture. I love how crisp her eye is. I love how her hair is coving up her other eye because she just stopped playing. I love the composition. I love her expression!

I’m so glad that she made this photo for me. I really should consider letting her model some.
